Last night, Hull’s skyline was transformed as Rainbow Fireworks delivered a breathtaking display to mark the official launch of the Monocle building — a bold new landmark in the city’s architectural evolution.
Set against the crisp September evening, our team orchestrated a precision-fired show that blended colour, choreography, and cutting-edge pyrotechnic design. From the first burst to the final crescendo, the display was engineered to reflect the Monocle’s modern elegance and Hull’s vibrant spirit.
✨ A Show Built on Precision and Passion
Every firework was hand-selected, ultra low debris and sequenced to complement the building’s reveal. Low-noise effects opened the show, drawing attention to the Monocle’s sleek façade, followed by high energy sweeping salvos arching around the Monocle curves that painted the sky in glitter snow, red mines, yellow comets and silver strobe tails— echoing the building’s branding and design palette.
We worked closely with the event organisers to help ensure that we captured the balance of an intimate show and impactful enough to showcase the Monocle in all its glory.
🏙️ Hull’s New Icon, Celebrated in Light
The Monocle launch wasn’t just a building reveal — it was a statement. And we were proud to help deliver it. As the final volley lit up the Humber horizon, applause echoed through the crowd, marking not just the start of a new chapter for Hull, but a moment of shared celebration.
