Popular fireworks retailer JTF has gone into administration with the loss of 500 jobs. Administrators have been called in at discount chain JTF Mega Discount Warehouse - with 500 jobs nationally at risk. Their Lincoln store closed temporarily in June 2021 for a grand relaunch. Unfortunately, collective efforts to secure a sale of the business have failed and the discount chain was forced to cease trading on Friday 16th July 2021.
JTF sold a huge range of retail fireworks and their Lincoln store was very popular with customers choosing from selection boxes to large display fireworks and rockets, mostly Brightstar products which later rebranded as Guy Fawkes fireworks. They also introduced a small range of Brothers Pyrotechnics fireworks late into 2020.
